We already have a website. Why would we start over?

Accepted Answer

We won't tell you to rebuild unless there's a real reason to. If your site is slow, hard to edit, invisible in search, or shaped around a tool instead of your customers, a rebuild usually pays for itself. If it's mostly working, we'll say so — and fix the specific things holding it back instead of selling you a new one.

Question 2

Can't we just build this on Wix, Shopify or WordPress ourselves?

Accepted Answer

Often, yes — and for a simple site that's a reasonable choice. The trouble starts when a business outgrows the builder: the page speed drops, the custom feature you need isn't possible, and you end up patching five plugins together. We're the people you call when the builder has become the ceiling, not the floor.

Question 3

Do you only work with clients in Cyprus?

Accepted Answer

No. We're based in Cyprus and work with businesses across the island, but a good part of our work is for clients we've never met in person. Discovery calls, shared documents and regular updates keep things clear wherever you are. If you're in Larnaca, Limassol, Nicosia or Paphos we're happy to meet; if you're elsewhere, the process is the same.

Question 4

What happens if we want to move away from GarnetDevs later?

Accepted Answer

The site is yours. You get the code, the domains and the accounts in your name — we don't hold anything hostage. We'd rather earn the next project than trap you in this one. If you ever want to take it in-house or hand it to another team, we'll hand over cleanly and answer their questions.

Question 5

Will the site actually be fast, or is that just a line you say?

Fast is measurable, so we don't just say it — we show it. We build lean, avoid bloated page builders, and tune the things that show up in Core Web Vitals. You'll see the numbers before and after launch, in plain language. If a feature would slow the site down, we'll tell you before we build it.

Question 6

Do you write the words, or do we?

Either. Some clients hand us finished copy; others want us to draft it from a few notes and a call. We're happy to do the writing, the structure and the messaging — but we won't invent facts about your business. What we won't do is publish placeholder text and call it done.

Why a small studio and not a bigger agency?

Accepted Answer

With us, the people doing the work are the people you're talking to. There's no account manager relaying messages between you and a separate delivery team. That means faster decisions, fewer misunderstandings and a site that reflects what you actually asked for. The trade-off is capacity: we take on a handful of projects at a time so each one gets proper attention.

Question 8

What's the one thing that decides whether a project succeeds?

Accepted Answer

Decisiveness. The projects that go well are the ones where the client can make a call — on direction, on copy, on scope — without waiting weeks between each step. We'll guide you and we'll have opinions, but a project stalls when decisions stall. If you can respond within a day or two, the whole thing moves quickly and the result is better.
